Control Plan Tool

A Control Plan connects process steps or measures with operational definitions, monitoring ownership, targets or triggers and the response to unusual results.

Read freely. Creating a worksheet requires a verified free beta account. No payment or manual beta approval.

When this tool helps

Use it when a process change needs a clear measurement and reaction framework.

It provides an organized record of how a process improvement will be maintained after initial testing.

When to choose another method

Use Data Collection Plan to design a new measurement method first. Use Monitoring Plan or Reaction Plan for a focused operational view of those activities.

How to use it in CI Tools

  1. Read the guide and agree the question, definitions and required starting information.
  2. Open a separate blank worksheet or the built-in synthetic practice sample. Follow the tool-specific steps and review its warnings.
  3. Check the interpretation and save an editable .citools file to your computer. Keep reports as separate exports.
