Measure · Interactive CI tool

Data Collection Plan

A Data Collection Plan specifies what will be measured, how, where, by whom and over which cases and period.

Read freely. Creating a worksheet requires a verified free beta account. No payment or manual beta approval.

When this tool helps

Use it when establishing a baseline, testing a change or resolving inconsistent measurement definitions.

It makes data reproducible and useful before a team invests effort in collecting it.

When to choose another method

Use CTQC first if the requirement is still vague. Use Time Study for timed observations or Control Chart for subsequent time-ordered analysis.

How to use it in CI Tools

  1. Read the guide and agree the question, definitions and required starting information.
  2. Open a separate blank worksheet or the built-in synthetic practice sample. Follow the tool-specific steps and review its warnings.
  3. Check the interpretation and save an editable .citools file to your computer. Keep reports as separate exports.
Follow the Data Collection Plan instructions step by step
